Domestic Goods Certificate

It is an official document that certifies the domestic origin of products manufactured by local producers and enables access to related incentives.

What Is a Domestic Goods Certificate?

It is a certificate showing that the products manufactured, or the important stages of the production process and the economically necessary labor and actions, were carried out in Turkey.

The Domestic Goods Certificate is valid for one year from the approval date.

What Are the Advantages?

Under Article 63, paragraph c of Public Procurement Law No. 4743, manufacturers submitting bids with a domestic goods certificate may receive a price advantage of up to 15% in goods procurement tenders.

What Is Required to Obtain It?

Companies that wish to obtain a Domestic Goods Certificate must have a valid Industrial Registry Certificate and Capacity Report issued under the same company name.

Applicant companies should complete the domestic contribution ratio calculation table and ensure that the domestic contribution ratio is at least 51%.

Which Documents Are Required?

The Domestic Goods Certificate is obtained from Chambers of Industry and Commerce affiliated with TOBB or from chambers affiliated with the Union of Tradesmen and Craftsmen.

  • Invoices for domestic inputs included in the calculation table
  • Industrial Registry Certificates of manufacturers of domestic inputs
  • Invoices for imported inputs included in the calculation table
  • Current sales invoice for the product subject to the Domestic Goods Certificate
  • Certified Public Accountant license copy and detailed activity certificate
  • Signature circulars of the person or persons authorized to represent and sign on behalf of the manufacturer
  • Industrial Registry Certificate
  • Trademark registration certificate, if available
